STEM Agency Program

Kick off your transition into tech with us! Our cohorts receive training, mentorship, and community support to ensure they are well-prepared to deliver immediate value in their next opportunity. Our objective is to help women of color like you reconfigure your career trajectory to include tech-driven roles. It’s designed to break down the social and emotional barriers that prevent the advancement of diversity in STEM. Our cohorts are allowed to be authentic in every way, free of the corporate bias and code-switching that often drains so much energy. This safe space for our sisterhood enables a high level of engagement and covers the following key areas:

Demystifying code, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are developed by emphasizing active learning, communication, and collaboration.

Technical Thinking

Classroom and 1-on-1 coaching develops your ability to be an effective, authentic leader who can influence without authority.

Leadership

Intentional focus is placed on traits that will move you forward in your life and career.

Agency, Self-Efficacy, and a Growth-Mindset

Learn how to create generational wealth, diversify your income, and define your worth in the marketplace.

Emotional Agility and Wellness

Overcome social and psychological barriers to switching careers by learning to approach life's challenges with self-acceptance, effective stress management, and an openness to personal growth.

Mentoring

Mentoring is given and received by your other cohort members via collaborative learning, and externally through offline office hours with our experienced facilitators or guest speakers.
