Our Founder

Throughout her 20+ year career in tech, Shawna has relentlessly championed and evangelized the operationalization of inclusion, equity, and belonging to foster innovation and growth. She has held diverse positions in software and IT industries leading global software development, quality, writing, and operations teams. After years of being the only person in the room who looked like her, she left corporate America to do her good work from the outside in.

Now CEO of STEM ENRG, Shawna has developed our programs based on her professional and personal experiences in software and IT companies. She is a LinkedIn Learning Instructor and a workforce development consultant, offering growing businesses services to help them build diversity, equity, and inclusion into their systems as well as individual leadership coaching.
